German carmaker Volkswagen presented the GTI in a whole premiere at the Paris Auto Show. The GTI chassis with new electronic transverse barrier redefines curves and traction completely. Volkswagen developed the Golf GTI Pirelli, a powerful, fast and very exclusive GTI model. In May 1983, the original Pirelli arrived on the market. It had as base the first generation, second series Golf GTI. The engine is capable of developing 230 PS and enables the car to reach a top speed of 245 km/h and to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds. Production will begin in September. ABT Sportsline specialist presented the new ABT GTI VS4-R that is now able to develop 270 horsepower. The aerodynamic kit includes a big front spoiler lip, a weight-optimized carbon lip, broad side skirts, a low rear skirts and also a marked rear spoiler.
The improved 2.0-liter FSI engine is able to develop 270 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque. The model car can reach a top speed of 244 km/h and it can speed from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.4 seconds.
The sport suspension springs guarantee sporting driving pleasure and keep the vehicle on the asphalt. The vehicle was lowered with 40 mm and this modification contributes to the extremely sporty looks of the ABT GTI VS4-R.

The new body kit includes a carbon fiber front lip, side skirts, rear skirts and a rear muffler with four chrome and pipes. Under the hood features a 2.0-liter FSI engine that is able to deliver 230 horsepower and 310 Nm of torque. Also, the models feature a sport brake system offered by the tuning company.
The suspension kit offers the possibility to modify the height as it was made for optimal road holding. The tuner has developed swing doors for its version of the GTI. The model runs on 8.5 x 19-inch ABT sport SP1 wheels and Dunlop tires, improving the contact between technology and asphalt.
